New Percentage (LTP) calculation for charting: Renko, Kagi, and PnF

Furthering our charting power, we’re announcing a new Percentage (LTP) calculation type for Renko, Kagi, and Point and Figure (PnF) chart types. You’ve been asking for this feature, and we’ve delivered.

In this mode, the box size is a percentage of the last traded price (LTP) at the moment when the symbol is loaded. Once calculated, this box size rounded to the nearest minimum tick size and applied consistently across all bars.

The box size is then additionally rounded to ensure it stays relatively consistent as long as the price does not change dramatically, which helps reduce repainting.

For example, on the chart below, the Percentage input is set to 1%. As the last traded price of AAPL is 216.00, 1% of it is equal to 2.16, which is then rounded to 2.

To turn on the “PercentageLTP” calculation mode and change the percentage value, switch the chart to Renko, Kagi, or Point and Figure, and open the Chart settings:
