BTCUSD - Bottom in sight? Keep an eye on the 5k levelHey guys, in my previous BTC post I've pointed out the strong similarities between this years market drop and the one of 2014. Assuming that structure will behave almost the same as in 2014, $3000 is the level to keep an eye out for a major reversal. It is still possible that price will reach this level, however I like to prepare myself for different scenarios, as things can turn out similar, but not necessarily hundred percent the same. As you can see on the chart, there is a strong confluence lining up around the 5k area, namely a significant major trendline, the -27.20% retracement of wave (2) to (3), a fresh demand zone as well as a major support. For the current bearish momentum to stop at the $5100-4700 area we do need to see volume and an indicative daily candle formation, to confirm a potential sell-off. A reactive approach is recommended. BTC 1 Day chart not looking too good.BTC daily not looking very good. I've mentioned before how nothing sub 7k has any well defined support. I've plotted two support zones on my chart but I would not consider them "strong" supports by any means and I would not consider opening longs at those levels. Definitely looking to get on the short side soon just haven't had any good shorting areas just yet. If we get a retest of the bottom of the blue zone that's probably where I'll open a short.

ETHUSD-Impressive run on the 2 hour chart! Can it last?ETH has been on a nice run since the trend changed directions on 4/8. Looking at the entry opportunity, a 1% percent risk model would have allowed 20% of available capital to be allocated towards the trade. Based on that, the current trade would have put about 15% to the bottom line. Will the current uptrend last? Obviously, a trend can continue for much longer then people expect, but ETH is now entering the meat of its daily overhead resistance, a trading band that appears to be fairly wide (675-800). With ETH sitting slightly above 700, it's not entirely unreasonable to think that it could go as high as 800 from here. With a move that started around 400, that would be a pretty good pay day! Key points to watch As the trade continues to unfold, I did want to point out that a cluster of top markers (orange crosses) are developing again. This is generally a sign that the underlying investment is ready to rest or correct. The top markers are a visual clue to tighten your trailing stop or possibly take your money off the table. As it stands now, the tighter stop is sitting near 669.47 and the main trend stop is at 647.60. A break below the 647.60 and the trend direction changes. Best of luck!

Gearing up for another $STORM$STORM appears to have reached a bottom support. On the uptrend we still need to push through the golden pocket but I believe $STORM will have the momentum. This coin went parabolic in a bear market after its listing on UpBit (Korean) as a KRW pair. We are continuing to hit higher lows at the support and the 1 day Stoch RSI is uptrending from from bottom. We've seen this coin go vertical on the first leg of its elliott wave, followed by a monster 3rd. It happens with little warning. I'm packing bags, see you on Mars.
