EURUSD: the ECB weekThe focus of the previous week was on US inflation figures. Posted data showed relatively stable figures for June, as inflation was standing at 0,3% for the month and 2,7% on a yearly basis. Both figures were in line with market expectations. Core inflation remained elevated and reached 0,2% for June and 2,9% y/y. At the same time, core inflation was by 0,1pp lower from market forecasts. The Producers Price Index in June was standing at 0%, same as core PPI. Compared to the year before, PPI was increased by 2,3%, while core PPI was higher by 2,6%. Retail sales in June were higher by 0,6%, and were better from market estimates of 0,1%. Building permits preliminary for June reached 1,397M and housing starts were standing at 1,321M in line with market expectations. The University of Michigan Consumer Sentiment preliminary for June was at the level of 61,8 in line with forecasts. Five year inflation expectations cooled a bit to 3,6%, from previous 4%. This year inflation expectations also eased to 4,4% from previous 5%.
The Industrial Production in the Euro Zone in May was higher by 1,7% for the month, bringing the indicator to the level of 3,7% on a yearly basis. Both figures were much higher from market forecasts of 0,9% for the month and 2,4% for the year. The ZEW Economic Sentiment Index in July for Germany reached the level of 52,7 a bit higher from forecasted. The final CPI in the Euro Zone in June was 2,3% y/y and core CPI at 2,3%, without change from the previous estimates.
For the second week in a row markets favored the US Dollar, which strengthened to the level of 1,1570 against euro. The currency pair ended the week at the level of 1,1626. The RSI continues to move around the level of 50 and is still not ready for a move toward the oversold market side. The MA50 continues to diverge from MA200, without an indication of a potential change in course in a near term period.
With a move toward the 1,1560, the eurusd tested the short term support line. At this level, the currency pair peaked in April this year. Charts are pointing to a potential for the short term reversal in the coming period. In this sense, levels modestly above the 1,17 resistance could be shortly tested. On the opposite side, 1,1560 might be tested for one more time at the start of the week, before the move toward upside. It should be considered that the ECB meeting will be held in a week ahead, where ECB members will draw the interest rate decision. A pause in rate cuts is overwhelmingly expected by market participants.
Important news to watch during the week ahead are:
EUR: GfK Consumer Confidence in august in Germany, HCOB manufacturing PMI flash for July for both Germany and Euro Zone, ECB meeting and interest rate decision will be held on Thursday, July 24th, Ifo Business Climate in July in Germany,
USD: Existing Home Sales in June, Durable Goods Orders in June.

GOLD-XAUUSD vs. The FED: Technicals or Fundamentals?Good Morning Traders,
Let’s break down what gold is showing us on the 1-day chart:
- **Resistance:** 3,378
- **Support:** 3,282
- There’s a noticeable **head and shoulders pattern** on the chart. Under normal conditions, gold’s target sits at **3,170**.
Gold is highly sensitive to fundamental factors. Sudden war news or events like last week’s rumors about Trump firing the Fed Chair can trigger serious volatility.
That’s why I always combine **technical and fundamental analysis** in my approach.
For gold to reach the 3,170 target, the **3,282 support level must first be broken**. Since that hasn't happened yet, we can't confirm a bearish move—fundamentals play a key role here.
Keep in mind: this is a **swing trade** setup based on a 1-day chart. Reaching the target could take time.
I want to sincerely thank everyone who’s been supporting my analyses with likes—your support is
my biggest source of motivation when it comes to sharing content.
Much love and respect to you all.💛

DeGRAM | EURUSD reached the resistance line📊 Technical Analysis
● EUR/USD has reclaimed the inner resistance of the 8-day descending channel after a V-shaped rebound from the lower rail; candles are now riding a fresh micro up-sloper.
● A 30 min close above 1.1666 (channel roof / prior pivot) confirms trend reversal and projects the measured move to the higher congestion band at 1.1690-1.1700.
💡 Fundamental Analysis
● Yesterday’s dip in US 2-yr yields after weaker Philly-Fed new-orders and higher jobless claims softens dollar demand, while ECB minutes signalled no rush to ease further, supporting the euro.
✨ Summary
Long 1.1630-1.1650; break of 1.1666 targets 1.1690 → 1.1700. Invalidate on an H1 close below 1.1585.

Gold Bulls Reloading? Smart Money Buys! The technical outlook on XAU/USD shows a well-defined bullish trend, developing within an ascending channel that started in late June. Price recently pushed toward the upper boundary of this channel, reaching a key resistance zone between 3,410 and 3,420 USD, which aligns with a previous supply area and significant daily structure. The reaction in this zone suggests a potential fake breakout, hinting at a short-term pullback before a continuation of the upward move.
The RSI oscillator supports this view, displaying bullish momentum with a breakout above the 60 level. However, the current slope hints at a possible minor correction before the next impulsive leg higher. The most relevant demand zone lies between 3,340 and 3,360 USD, at the base of the ascending channel—an ideal spot for buy orders to accumulate in anticipation of a move toward previous highs.
Backing this technical setup, the Commitment of Traders (COT) report as of July 15, 2025, paints a constructive picture. Non-commercial traders (institutional speculators) increased their long positions by over 8,500 contracts, while also cutting short positions by about 1,600 contracts, indicating a strong bullish bias. Commercials also increased their shorts (+16,448), a typical hedge during rallies, but not enough to invalidate the bullish structure.
From a seasonal perspective, July remains one of the historically strongest months for gold. According to MarketBulls data, over the past 2 years, gold has averaged gains of 105+ points in July, with solid returns also visible on the 5-year (+45 pts) and 10-year (+25 pts) averages. August also tends to be supportive, reinforcing the idea of a medium-term bullish extension.
Lastly, the retail sentiment is heavily skewed, with 72% of retail traders short, and only 28% long. From a contrarian standpoint, this is another strong bullish signal. When the majority of retail traders are short in a structurally bullish market, the potential for a short squeeze remains high.
Week of 7/20/25: EURUSD AnalysisLast week's price action was bearish and has finally reached the extreme daily demand level and provided some reaction. Price has swept bulls and bears, so now we follow internal structure and wait to see where price actually wants to go. If internal 1h structure breaks bearish, we have confirmation to trade bearish until price goes deeper into the daily extreme zone.

EURUSD – Is the rally over? Time for a collapse? The technical picture reveals that EURUSD is losing momentum after a brief rebound. The 1.1700 level stands as a key resistance – if bulls fail to break it, the bears will take the wheel! A clear scenario is forming: lower highs, FVGs filled, and a potential drop toward the 1.1580 support zone this week.
The bad news for the euro isn’t over: yesterday’s Eurozone PMI data disappointed heavily, signaling stagnating growth. Meanwhile, the USD is gaining traction from strong labor data and hawkish Fed remarks, putting EURUSD under double pressure.
If the ascending trendline breaks, EURUSD could plunge even further – get ready for a potential breakdown!
Suggested strategy: Prioritize SELL below 1.1700, with a short-term target at 1.1580.
Stop-loss: Above 1.1720 – a breakout here would invalidate the bearish setup.
EURUSD Breaks Bullish Structure – Here’s My Trade Plan📍 Watching EURUSD closely—it's recently broken bullish (market structure) on the daily timeframe 📈.
I’m now waiting for a retrace into a fair value gap, watching for the rebalance and a possible support zone touch before the next leg up 🔄🟢.
🎥 In this idea, I walk you through:
🔍 Price action
🧱 Market structure
📊 Trend direction
📋 And my personal trade plan for this setup
Not financial advice ❌💼
EUR/USD AccumulationOn the 5-minute timeframe, buying activity initiates, signaling the potential end of the downtrend. The first indication of upward momentum appears following the formation of a range and a subsequent liquidity sweep. Price then retests the prior low with diminished volume but fails to break below it, suggesting that selling pressure is being absorbed by buyers. This behavior reflects accumulation by informed participants positioning for a move higher. As demand begins to outweigh supply, clear signs of strength emerge
Entry: 1.15765
Take Profit: 1.16279
Stop Loss: 1.15621
EUR/USD at Resistance – Will Sellers Push Price Down to 1.15000?Hello fellow traders! What’s your take on EUR/USD?
From Brian’s personal perspective:
This currency pair is approaching a key resistance zone, which previously acted as a strong support level. This area aligns with historical price reactions and could serve as a solid foundation for potential bearish movements.
If sellers confirm their presence through bearish price action, I anticipate the price could move toward 1.15000. However, a clear break above this resistance level may signal the possibility of further bullish continuation.
Let me know your thoughts or any additional insights you might have!
DXY was looking for More Liquidity to sweepIt appears that the DXY was searching for more liquidity before continuing its decline. There are good buying areas for the EURUSD, as the liquidity swept to the bottom, and the immediate rebound indicates the strength of this area and can be considered a buying zone.
This area coincides with the 61 Fibonacci support line, confirming the possibility of an upside move.
The GBPUSD was targeting the bottom to trigger a liquidity sweep on the weekly timeframe. This is also an SMT signal, but it is somewhat weak, but it confirms the complete vision of the analysis.
