Introducing "Divergence IQ"
Divergence IQ lets traders identify divergences between price action and almost ANY TradingView technical indicator. This tool is designed to help you spot potential trend reversals and continuation patterns with a range of configurable features.

The image above shows Divergence IQ identifying divergences between price action and OBV with no normalization technique applied.
While traders can look for divergences between OBV and price, OBV doesn't naturally behave like an oscillator, with no definable upper and lower threshold, OBV can infinitely increase or decrease.
With Divergence IQ's ability to normalize any indicator, traders can normalize non-oscillator technical indicators such as OBV, CVD, MACD, or even a moving average.
In the image above, the "Robust Scaling" normalization technique is selected. Consequently, the output of OBV has changed and is now behaving similar to an oscillator-like technical indicator. This makes spotting divergences between the indicator and price easier and more appropriate.
The three normalization techniques included will change the indicator's final output to be more compatible with divergence detection.
This feature can be used with almost any technical indicator.
Stop Type
Traders can select between ATR based profit targets and stop losses, or percentage based profit targets and stop losses.

Divergence Detection Method
A natural pitfall of divergence trading is that it generally takes several bars to "confirm" a divergence. This makes trading the divergence complicated, because the entry at time of the divergence might look great; however, the divergence wasn't actually signaled until several bars later.
To circumvent this issue, Divergence IQ offers two divergence detection mechanisms.
Pivot Detection
Pivot detection mode is the same as almost every divergence indicator on TradingView. The Pivots High Low indicator is used to detect market/indicator highs and lows and, consequently, divergences.
This method generally finds the "best looking" divergences, but will always take additional time to confirm the divergence.
Immediate Detection
Immediate detection mode attempts to reduce lag between the divergence and its confirmation to as little as possible while avoiding repainting.
Immediate detection mode still uses the Pivots Detection model to find the first high/low of a divergence. However, the most recent high/low does not utilize the Pivot Detection model, and instead immediately looks for a divergence between price and an indicator.
Immediate Detection Mode will always signal a divergence one bar after it's occurred, and traders can set alerts in this mode to be alerted as soon as the divergence occurs.
TradingView Backtester Integration
Divergence IQ is fully compatible with the TradingView backtester!
Divergence IQ isn’t designed to be a “profitable strategy” for users to trade. Instead, the intention of including the backtester is to let users backtest divergence-based trading strategies between the asset on their chart and almost any technical indicator, and to see if divergences have any predictive utility in that market.
So while the backtester is available in Divergence IQ, it’s for users to personally figure out if they should consider a divergence an actionable insight, and not a solicitation that Divergence IQ is a profitable trading strategy. Divergence IQ should be thought of as a Divergence backtesting toolkit, not a full-feature trading strategy.
Strategy Properties Used For Backtest
Initial Capital: $1000 - a realistic amount of starting capital that will resonate with many traders
Amount Per Trade: 5% of equity - a realistic amount of capital to invest relative to portfolio size
Commission: 0.02% - a conservative amount of commission to pay for trade that is standard in crypto trading, and very high for other markets.
Slippage: 1 tick - appropriate for liquid markets, but must be increased in markets with low activity.
Once more, the backtester is meant for traders to personally figure out if divergences are actionable trading signals on the market they wish to trade with the indicator they wish to use.

SMI Ergodic Indicator/Oscillator of Money Flow Index▮ Introduction
The Stochastic Momentum Index Ergodic (SMII) indicator is a technical analysis tool designed to predict trend reversals in the price of an asset.
It functions as a momentum oscillator, measuring the ratio of the smoothed price change to the smoothed absolute price change over a given number of previous periods.
The Ergodic SMI is based on the True Strength Index (TSI) and integrates a signal line, which is an exponential moving average (EMA) of the SMI indicator itself.
The Ergodic SMI oscillator provides a clearer picture of market trends than the traditional stochastic oscillator by incorporating the concept of 'ergodicity', which helps remove market noise.
On ther other hand, MFI (Money Flow Index) is a technical analysis indicator used to measure the inflow of money into an asset and thus help identify buying and selling pressure in a given financial instrument.
When these two indicators are combined, they can provide a more comprehensive view of price direction and market strength.
▮ Motivation: why another indicator?
By combining SMII with MFI, we can gain even more insights into the market.
One way to do this is to use the MFI as an input to the SMII, rather than just using price.
This means we are measuring momentum based on buying and selling pressure rather than just price.
Furthermore, there is the possibility of making several fine adjustments to both the calculation and visualization parameters that are not present in other indicators.
▮ What to look for
When using the SMII MFI indicator, there are a few things to look out for.
First, look at the SMII signal line.
When the line crosses above -40, it is considered a buy signal, while the crossing below +40 is considered a sell signal.
Also, pay attention to divergences between the SMII and the price.
If price is rising but the SMII is showing negative divergence, it could indicate that momentum is waning and a reversal could be in the offing.
Likewise, if price is falling but the SMII is showing positive divergence, this could indicate that momentum is building and a reversal could also be in the offing.
Divergences can be considered in both indicator and/or histogram.

The indicator presented here offers both the 'SMII' and the 'SMIO', that is, the 'Stochastic Momentum Index Ergodic Indicator' together with the 'Stochastic Momentum Index Ergodic Oscillator' (histogram), as per the documentation described in reference links.
So it is important to highlight the differences in relation to my other indicator, the 'Stochastic Momentum Index (SMI) of Money Flow Index (MFI)':
This last one is purely based on the SMI , which is implemented using SMA smoothing for the relative range and the high/low range.
Although they may seem the same in some situations, the calculation is actually different. The TSI tends to be more responsive at the expense of being noisier, while the SMI tends to be smoother. Which of these two indicators is best depends on the situation, the context, and the analyst's personal preference.

🟣 Bullish CVD Divergence
A bullish CVD divergence occurs when the price makes a lower low, but the CVD indicator shows a higher low. This indicates increasing buying pressure in the market, even though the price is declining. In other words, despite the price dropping, buyers are gradually gaining strength, which could signal a price reversal and the start of a bullish trend.
How to use this signal : In this scenario, traders looking to go long can use this signal as a favorable opportunity to enter the market. After a bullish divergence, the market typically tends to move upward.
To reduce risk, traders can wait for further confirmation from the price chart. For example, if the price breaks through the previous high after the divergence or breaks a resistance level, this could be a more reliable signal for entering the market.
🟣 Bearish CVD Divergence
A bearish CVD divergence is the opposite of a bullish divergence. In this type of divergence, the price makes a higher high, but the CVD indicator shows a lower high. This indicates decreasing buying pressure and weakening momentum in the current bullish trend. A bearish divergence often serves as a warning of a potential market reversal to the downside.
How to use this signal : Traders can use this divergence as an opportunity to exit long positions or enter short positions. When the CVD indicator makes a lower high compared to the price, it signals weakness in buyer strength.
If traders receive further confirmation from the price chart, such as a break of key support levels or an increase in selling volume, this can serve as a stronger signal for the beginning of a bearish trend.
🟣 How to Build a Trading Strategy with Cumulative Volume Delta Divergence
Using CVD divergence alone may not be sufficient. Traders should combine this tool with other technical analysis techniques and indicators to have more confidence in their decisions. For example, when observing a CVD divergence, traders can also analyze volume, trend lines, or candlestick patterns to get a more accurate market analysis.
Additionally, risk management should always be a priority. Using stop-loss orders and properly sizing trades can help traders minimize their losses if they make a mistake.

Divergence Fractal Period : Determines the period of swings. The minimum and default value is 2.
CVD Period : You can set the period of " Periodic " and " EMA " modes.
Cumulative Mode : It has three modes "Periodic" and "EMA". In "Periodic" mode, it accumulates the volume periodically and in "EMA" mode, it calculates the moving average of the volume.
Market Ultra Data : If you turn on this feature, 26 large brokers will be included in the calculation of the trading volume. The advantage of this capability is to have more reliable volume data. You should be careful to specify the market you are in, FOREX brokers and Crypto brokers are different.

Divergences occur when there is a disagreement between the price action of an asset and the corresponding indicator. Let's review the conditions for regular and hidden divergences.
Regular divergences indicate a potential reversal in the current trend.
Regular Bullish Divergence
Price Action - Forms a lower low.
Indicator - Forms a higher low.

The methodology employed in this script involves the detection of divergences through conditional price levels rather than relying on detected pivots. Traditionally, divergences are created by identifying pivots in both the underlying asset and the oscillator. We detect swings or pivots simply by testing for crosses between the indicator and its trailing stop.

Lifetime - Maximum timespan to detect a Divergence.
Repaint - Switched on, the script will trigger Divergencies as they happen in Real-Time, could cause repainting when the conditions are met but canceled at a later time before bar closes.

📌 Details
Developing the indicators, we put a lot of effort in making a customizable and user-friendly interface.
#1. Pivot Setting
Users can set the length to find the pivot high / pivot low in ‘Pivot Settings – Pivot Length.’
Increased pivot Length takes more candles to interpret the chart but reduce false signals since the it uses only the most certain pivot high / pivot low values. Obviously, decreased pivot length will act the opposite.
Users can choose whether to use ‘High/Low’ or ‘Close’ in ‘Pivot Reference’ to set the swing point of prices.
Users can also choose whether to display the pivot high / pivot low marker on the chart.
#2 RSI & CMF Settings
Users can adjust the length of RSI & CMF separately. (The default values are set to 14 and 20 each.)
#3 Label Setting
Users can adjust the text displayed on the chart label. (The default values is set to ‘Bullish / Bearish’, ‘RSI/CMF’, ‘Divergence’.)
Users can reduce the length of text label or simply turn the label off. Just click the ‘Bull/Bear’ or ‘None’ button. ‘Divergence’ works the same.
Users can decide whether to display the ‘Divergence Line and Label’, set custom settings for the label and line. (color, thickness, style, etc)
📌 Alert
Alert are provided as a combination of the chart's symbol and the set label text. For example,

지표를 개발하며 사용자들이 원하는 방향으로 지표를 설정할 수 있게 작업에 많은 공을 들였습니다. 굉장히 다양한 옵션을 선택할 수 있으며, 원하는 방식으로 지표를 사용할 수 있습니다.
#1 Pivot Setting
Pivot setting에서는 Pivot Length를 변경할 수 있습니다.
Pivot Length를 늘릴 경우, 보다 확실한 Swing High와 Swing Low만을 사용하게 되므로, False signal이 줄어들 수 있습니다. 하지만 Swing High/ Low를 판정하는 데에 더 긴 시간이 걸리게 되므로, Signal이 다소 늦게 발생하는 단점이 생기게 됩니다.
Pivot Length를 줄일 경우, 반대로 Swing High/Low의 판정이 더 빨리 일어나기 때문에, Signal을 거래에 이용하기는 좋을 수 있습니다. 다만, Swing High와 Low가 훨씬 더 잦은 빈도로 발생하기 때문에 False Signal을 줄 가능성이 높아집니다.
Pivot Reference에서는 가격의 Swing Point를 설정함에 있어, High/Low(고가/저가)를 이용할 지 Close (종가)를 이용할 지 선택할 수 있습니다.
Pivot High/Low Marker를 선택할 경우 Pivot High/ Low에 Marker가 찍히게 됩니다.
#2 RSI와 CMF Setting
RSI와 CMF Setting에서는 RSI와 CMF의 길이를 각각 설정할 수 있습니다. 기본값은 14와 20으로 설정되어 있습니다.
#3 Label Setting
Label Setting에서는 Label에 표시되는 글자를 선택할 수 있습니다.
기본값은 "Bullish / Bearish", "RSI/CMF", "Divergence"로 선택되어 있으며, 너무 길다고 느껴질 경우 "Bull/Bear" 혹은 "None"을 클릭하여 길이를 줄일 수 있습니다. 마찬가지로 Divergence의 경우도 생략이 가능합니다.
하단에서는 Divergence Line과 Label을 켜고 끌 수 있으며, 선의 색깔, 굵기, 종류, 그리고 Label의 색깔, 크기, 종류를 선택할 수 있습니다. Label의 Text 색 역시 변경이 가능합니다.
📌 얼러트
얼러트는 자신이 설정한 차트의 심볼과 Label의 문구의 조합으로 제공되며 예를 들면 다음과 같습니다.

Volume Accumulation Oscillator (VAO)The Volume Accumulation Oscillator (VAO) is a powerful momentum-based indicator designed to assess the strength of volume accumulation in a given asset. It helps traders identify periods of intense buying or selling pressure and potential trend reversals.
The VAO calculates the Net Volume Accumulation (NVA) by considering the volume, open, close, high, and low prices. It then applies exponential moving averages (EMAs) to smooth the NVA and calculates the VAO by comparing the smoothed NVA with its EMA over a specified signal period.
The VAO is plotted as a line chart, providing a clear visual representation of its values. Positive VAO values indicate strong bullish volume accumulation, suggesting potential upward price movement. Conversely, negative VAO values indicate significant selling pressure and the possibility of a downtrend.
To enhance the analysis, the indicator includes reference levels such as the zero line and +/-1 levels. These levels serve as important reference points for interpreting the VAO values and identifying key turning points in the market.
Additionally, the VAO histogram is included, which further illustrates the strength and direction of volume accumulation. The histogram bars are color-coded, with green bars representing positive VAO values and red bars representing negative VAO values.
The Volume Accumulation Oscillator is a versatile tool that can be used in various trading strategies. Traders can look for divergences between the VAO and the price chart to identify potential trend reversals. Adaptive Fisherized CMFIntroduction
Heyo, here I made a normalized Chaikin Money Flow (CMF) indicator with Inverse Fisher Transform (IFT) and some smoothing techniques.
I had to normalize the indicator in order to fit it to the IFT range (-1 -> 1).
Moreover, the good old adaptive mode is also included in this indicator. It uses Ehlers superb dominant cycle techniques.
It also has divergence detection, several options for individualisation and doesn't repaint.

CMF above 0 => bullish market
CMF below 0 => bearish market
(You can also use the inner bands instead of the zero line, to make these signals more precise)

Divergence Finder [Multigrain]█ OVERVIEW
This indicator is a divergence finder, designed to be overlayed on top of any oscillator. By utilizing an Exponential Moving Average, rather than built-in pivot functions, this allows for insignificant pivots of the oscillator to be filtered out. Additionally, by sampling more than just the previous oscillator pivot, this allows for divergences to be found that would otherwise be overlooked through other methods.

Interim Price Threshold
A new metric used when determining valid divergences is the Interim Price Threshold (IPT). The IPT is the maximum percent delta the price is allowed to "poke-through" the divergent line at any given time.

Similar to the Interim Price Threshold, the Interim Oscillator Threshold (IOT) is the maximum percent delta the oscillator is allowed to "poke-through" the divergent line at any given time.
Dynamic Midline
Commonly a static midline is utilized when determining whether a divergence may be bullish or bearish. By utilizing the built-in percentile nearest rank function, the midline is automatically and dynamically determined based on the previous 250 bars. As a result certain divergences which may otherwise be overlooked will be discovered.
█ SETTINGS
Oscillator Source: The oscillator in which you want find divergences from. Default to a MACD oscillator when unchanged.
Price Source: The price source in which you want to find divergences from.
Moving Average Length: The length of the exponential moving average used when determining the pivot points of the selected oscillator.
█ USAGES
Divergence in technical analysis can indicate a significant bullish or bearish price move. A bullish divergence occurs when an asset's price makes a new low while an indicator begins to rise. A bearish divergence occurs when the price makes a new high but the indicator under consideration makes a lower high.

The problem with the classic divergence is that when the signal appears, it is sometimes too late to enter a trade .
The potential divergence corrects this problem by signaling the beginning of a potential divergence .
MACD is a momentum indicator that offers relevant insights with divergences.
Potential divergences are indicated with the letter B and a red color for Bearish Div or Green color for Bullish Div .
Potential divergence is confirmed when the line and the label "Bear"' or "Bull" appear.
Better Divergence On Any Indicator [DoctaBot]This is an expansion of the Tradingview built in Divergences indicator (bottom) with 2 MAJOR differences.
First, and most importantly, the built in indicator identifies pivots in your chosen oscillator, but then utilizes the corresponding candle's HIGH or LOW to identify potential divergences. I'm not a fan of this method because oscillator values are typically calculated using the candle CLOSE values, so, in my opinion, divergences should be identified using the candle CLOSE value as well, as they are in this script.
Second, the built in divergence indicator only looks back one oscillator pivot for potential divergences. I coded this to look back one additional pivot as well to identify more valid potential divergences. The script will only identify these types of "multiple pivot divergences" if the oscillator pivot in between the two diverging pivots DOES NOT intersect the line being drawn them.
Notes for chart:
#1: This built in Divergence indicator misses this hidden bearish divergence because of the pivot in between (marked with red vertical line). No divergence exists between the most recent pivots, but it does if we compare it to the next one back.
#2: The RSI14 is making a lower high here, the first criteria for a bearish divergence. The built in Divergence indicator then references the candles' HIGHS. Because the most recent HIGH exceeds the previous one, it is considered a higher high and incorrectly identified as a bearish divergence. If we use the candle CLOSE price to identify divergences, this does not qualify.
#3: Here, we see both of the updates in action. Neither of these bearish divergences are identified with the built in Divergence Indicator. The first divergence s missed due to the use of candle HIGHS rather than closes; the original HIGH is greater than the next HIGH, however, comparison of closes shows that it is, in fact, a higher CLOSE. The second divergence is missed because original indicator can only look back one pivot and, consequently, misses the divergence between the next one back.
Please note, you may notice while using this script that some of the older divergences do not show any lines between the oscillator pivots. THIS IS NOT A BUG! In order to draw divergence lines properly for multiple pivots back, I had to use the line.new functions rather than plot functions. These line functions will delete old lines when a certain number have been drawn on the chart so these old ones are automatically erased as time passes.

Mawreez' RSI Divergence DetectorThe idea behind this indicator is to have an expression for the amount of divergence on a given chart at every point in time . To achieve this, it adds up the magnitudes any valid divergence of any kind; bullish, bearish or their hidden variants. Where a valid divergence consists of a line on the source series (almost always the closing price), and a line on an oscillator (here: the RSI). The slopes of said lines must have opposite signs, that is to say, one line must be sloping up while the other slopes down. Said lines may not cross their respective series.
The length of the RSI is configurable (default length: 14). The lengths of the divergences are configurable (default: minimum length 3 and maximum length 28 - the latter being twice the default length of the RSI).
This indicator will detect divergences which are still building up. Be duly warned: upcoming divergences may still get invalidated. Another case that one should be very mindful of is that an upcoming divergence may still increase in magnitude before it plays out. Possibly over several more timesteps, there may even be entire additional drives.
The value of this indicator indeed reflects the magnitude of divergence on a chart. However, there is no reason to think the magnitude of a divergence affects the likelihood of said divergence playing out.
The color of the indicator indicates the kind of divergence. The default colors are
green for bullish divergence,
maroon (dark red) for bearish divergence,
lime/light green for hidden bullish divergence,
dark pink for hidden bearish divergence.
Please let me know if you would like to see a version of this indicator that plots both the RSI and this histogram. I will do this for personal use, but I am being a bit of a purist with this publication.

Description
OBV-M is of course based on the classic indicator on balance volume originally developed by Joe Granville. Apirine then smooths the calculation and adds a signal line to help denote entry and exit points.
As the author points out uts also great at showing divergences!
